Alissa Dobbin has been coaching with First Tee Sandhills since earlier this year, starting at our Aberdeen elementary site and now serving as lead coach for Just for Girls at Pinehurst #6. As an LPGA Class A Teaching Professional, she brings real expertise to every session and a patient, hands-on approach. That showed this season when she helped a young golfer who kept spinning out of her swing. Alissa walked her through the “L” to “L” motion, and the girl practiced it slowly until it clicked. Her next swing stayed balanced, and they both lit up.
Alissa knows that the best coaching is patient, and that’s what makes her a standout in our program.
