US Women's Open Experience

Greater Fayetteville First Tee Families!

The USGA has offered an amazing opportunity for First Tee Kids and Teens to participate in a behind the scenes tour of the US Women’s Open Championship Set Up, Operations and Event Execution on Tuesday, May 31.

Some of the areas participants will get to tour and experience include:

  • Media Center Tour
  • Meet & Greet with US Women’s Open Participant
  • Agronomy Lesson with Golf Course Set Up Team
  • On Course Scavenger Hunt
  • Junior Tent Fun & Games!

For juniors selected to participate, this will be an all day field trip experience at no cost to your family! We anticipate leaving a designated drop off point in Fayetteville no later than 8:30am and returning for parent pick up by 5:00pm. Participants will be chaperoned by First Tee staff and coaches. On site food and beverage will be provided thanks to the USGA.

Is your child eligible to be selected? This experience is open to rising 3rd graders through High School-ers who have the ability to walk a minimum three (3) miles on a hilly golf course while combating the summer weather and elements.

Interested kids and teens must answer the short essay question and have the below form completed by a parent or guardian no later than Friday, May 20th. Selected participants will be notified on Wednesday, May 25th and will receive additional details regarding what to wear, what to pack, and more!

Please Note: If multi-child household, we ask that you complete a separate application for each child.
