Maxine Merrill Gilmore enjoyed many things in life, but none would argue her passion for golf. She spent the majority of her life with friends on the course. Maxine’s family has chosen First Tee – Sandhills as an avenue to honor her love of the game, and the impact the sport had on her life. The ability for First Tee to extend this love to a new generation of golfers is the tribute and legacy her family would like to leave in her name.
