February 5 Spotlight: Carmen Monge
Carmen Monge, a 4th Grader at New Century International Elementary in Fayetteville has been attending The First Tee of the Sandhills for a year and a half via our programs at Gates Four Golf & CC. When asked to reflect on The First Tee, her answer is short and sweet: I LOVE IT!
It’s not often you can mention words like patient, coach-able, and determined when discussing someone of her age, but these are the words we use to describe Carmen from our experiences during Curriculum Programs.
However, after learning more about her in preparation for our latest Participant Spotlight, we’d add humble and intriguing to the list.
Carmen is another great example of the incredible kids that participate in The First Tee of the Sandhills.
We sat down for a Quick 9 with Carmen. Here’s what we found out!
