From his very first swing, Enoch French was hooked on golf, and ever since, he’s been a shining example of what it means to grow through the game. Enoch’s First Tee journey began in July 2018, when he attended a summer camp and picked up a golf club for the very first time. That moment sparked a deep love for the game that has only grown stronger over the years. “I was hooked from my very first shot,” he recalls. Originally from Sanford, Enoch and his family relocated to Vass in 2021, planting roots in Moore County where his connection to golf continued to flourish. With a strong family history in the game and countless rounds shared with his dad, golf feels like it’s in his DNA. “It feels like it’s in my blood,” he says.
Giving Back as a Junior Volunteer
But Enoch’s story is about more than his own journey, it’s also about the way he’s giving back. Now a proud Junior Volunteer Coach with First Tee – Sandhills, Enoch is dedicated to helping the next generation discover the joy of golf, just like he did. One of his favorite memories as a volunteer came at The Cradle, where he watched young players light up with excitement. “Their excitement reminded me of how I felt when I first started,” he shares. “It made me even more excited to stay involved in this awesome game and continue volunteering.” Enoch is a testament to the power of mentorship, the joy of giving back, and the incredible growth that happens when young leaders step up. His passion for golf and his commitment to helping others learn the game embody the spirit of First Tee – Sandhills and the bright future that comes when we build Game Changers together!
