David E. has been a First Tee Sandhills participant since spring 2024 and has grown tremendously since his first day on the course. He shows up every week ready to work, pays close attention to instruction, and isn’t afraid to try new things to reach his goals. That mindset was on full display this spring when he pulled his hybrid out of the bag after struggling with it rather than give up, he trusted the process, made a few adjustments with his coach, and was hitting it long and straight for the first time.
The excitement on his face said it all. David understands that failure sometimes comes before success, and that mentality is what makes him stand out.
