2022 Winter Fun Days - First Tee

Sandhills kids and teens have worked so hard! They’ve adapted to the cards they’ve been dealt at school while learning and applying new Core Values and Life Skills with you at the golf course!

So, we wanted to give them a break! A chance to keep their golf skills sharp, get extra time out on the golf course and stay in touch with their new friends from First Tee.

Play 9 Holes of Golf!

Open to experienced golfers age 9 to 15 who can walk and carry their own golf bag! It’s your chance to put your skills into practice in an on-course setting. While walking and playing the golf course, kiddos will explore interpersonal communication and self-management skills. They will encounter obstacles that will require keeping a positive attitude and addressing effect problem-solving. Minimum of 4 participants required. Cost is $10 per participant per date.

Winter Warm Up Skills Practice

Open to participants age 7 to 12. Join us for a winter warm up before we spring into programming this March! As a returning First Tee – Participant, your kiddo will be able to participate in a few fun golf skill activities similar to our traditional class setting to get back into the swing of things as well as test out a few new games they may see this year! Come to one or all three, as they will all be different! Minimum of 6 participants is required. Cost is $5 per participant per date.

Inclement Winter Weather Policy: In the event of inclement or possible inclement weather, including a feels like temperature of less than 40 degrees, a decision regarding the cancellations of programming will be made at minimally 90 minutes before the scheduled start time. An email will be sent to the address on file and follow us on social media for the most up-to-date announcements.

Hold Harmless Agreement
I, the parent/legal guardian of the above named youth, give approval for participation in First Tee - Sandhills sponsored activities during calendar year 2021. I assume all risks of injury whatsoever and agree to hold harmless First Tee Chapter and Headquarters Office from claim(s) of any nature arising from any activity, including transportation, connected with the First Tee facility or program. This hold harmless agreement includes, but is not limited to, any claim due to injury resulting from negligence of the First Tee Chapter or Headquarters Office, its employees, agents, LPGA and PGA Professionals, participating agencies, and volunteers. I consent to the First Tee Chapter and Headquarters Office communicating information regarding my child’s participation via the internet. This consent form is valid for all activities of First Tee - Sandhills for the calendar year of 2021.
