Registration for Summer Camps will open on Monday, March 14.

First Tee is transitioning nationally to an age-based format for all programs by the end of 2023. We have been incorporating this model over the last few seasons, as we organize your kids and teens by age within their respective classes. This will continue to be the case for our summer camps! So, not to worry, our 7 yr olds and 13 yr olds will be in different groups throughout camp week!
As we are moving into a new age based model for classes and camps, age based class exceptions will not be made. We apologize in advance if this impacts your family. Please be sure to check out our programs FAQ’s page for more information related to classes and camps.

Refund and Transfers

Refunds are no longer offered. Yes, you may request a session transfer, but we cannot guarantee availability and requests must be made two (2) weeks in advance from the currently registered session or camp starting date.
Participant Attendance
Attendance is a key component to the success, development, and progression of the First Tee program. As part of our Summer week long camp series, participants are expected to attend all program dates. We ask that while reviewing our schedule, you choose to register for a program that your kiddo can commit to for the full week. Program space is limited and out of respect and courtesy for fellow participants, volunteers, and organizers, it is important to commit to the schedule.
Age Requirements
First Tee – Sandhills is open to all juniors between the ages of 5 to senior in high school. Participants must be the minimum age required for camp by June 30 to participate.
Registration Fee
When registering online, the registration fee must be paid via credit card. If you wish to pay by check or cash, you must stop by the office to make your payment and complete registration. Space will not be held for incomplete registration forms.
- 3 Hour Camps – $100
- 4 Hour Camps – $125
Scholarships
Scholarships are available based on your families requested need of support. All scholarship participants will be afforded the same opportunities for participation as non-scholarship participants. We ask that only cases of necessity apply. One (1) scholarship request per participant, per season. To apply for a scholarship, you must complete your request online as part of the official registration process. Once the chapter is able to review your request, you will be notified on the level of scholarship provided and alerted to complete registration and confirm your child’s spot in the program.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement or possible inclement weather, a decision regarding the cancellation of programming will be made at minimally 90 minutes before the scheduled start time. An email will be sent to the address on file and follow us on social media for the most up-to-date announcements.
Equipment & Attire
First Tee – Sandhills will provide equipment free of charge for use during our weekly curriculum programs for those that do not have their own. We will ensure that borrowed equipment meets the needs of your participant and is the correct size. Participants are asked to wear golf or athletic attire that is weather appropriate. This includes appropriate length shorts or slacks, shirts with sleeves and tucked in, tennis or flat soled closed toe shoes.
